It's already election time again. I need your help to get on the ballot, and to let other people know about my work.
Due to redistricting, state senate, state representative, and Congressional districts have changed. For my district, the change is in parts of Cambridge, but some of you will have other changes. There's information on redistricting at the end of the newsletter.
CAN YOU HELP ME GET SIGNATURES?
If you can help me collect signatures to get on the ballot, let me know. Even a few from friends and family would help. You could also collect them at a T stop or square. It's harder this year than usual, because we usually get many signatures in caucuses. But this year caucuses are virtual.
A great way to get signatures is to go door to door in your neighborhood and meet new and familiar neighbors. That's how I got started in politics, canvassing for reform candidates long ago. It's still one of my favorite ways to campaign.
Let me know if you would like a signature sheet. Also let me know if you would like a voter list for your neighborhood.
You can also drop by our house to say hi and sign or pick up a sheet. Alain and I work from home, but check to make sure I'm not in a meeting.

REDISTRICTING
My district didn't change much, except in Cambridge. It will still include all of Medford and Somerville, and precincts 4, 5, 6, 7 in Winchester. (On the map, it's D27 in light green.)
In Cambridge, it will no longer include ward 9. It will still have wards 10 and 11, and add precincts 7/1 and 8/1. You can find a map of Cambridge precincts here.
