Housing Internship: Winter/Spring 2018

Senator Jehlen’s office is currently looking for one intern to complete a research project on housing and affordability. This project will involve extensive research into housing affordability and the history, successes, and failures of government and community interventions aimed at increasing access to housing.

  • The intern will work with staff to design the scope of research and a research plan.
  • The intern will present regular updates throughout the internship.
  • The intern can take significant ownership over the research and where it leads.
  • At the completion of research, the intern will present their findings to the senator and staff.

Candidates with a background in researching or working on housing policy is preferred.
